During a busy week in Bangkok, we had the honour to meet with Dr Thawilwadee Bureekul, Deputy Secretary General of King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) for cooperation discussions. This leading public policy and administration academy is devoted to “democratic development, good governance, and peaceful means for everyone.”
Dr Thawilwadee is a well-known personality in this field with a long list of publications. Areas of possible cooperation include anti-corruption training for public officials in specific sectors. We were invited to attend a hybrid seminar on women’s rights and opportunities in public service – and the level of teaching and the facilities appeared excellent. We’re looking forward to continuing the dialogue.
