Vietnam: Fostering A Sound Business Environment: From Policy Dialogue to Delivering Impact

September 1, 2017

We’re pleased to announce that that we have been awarded a second grant by the UK Prosperity Fund to continue our work in Vietnam in introducing compliance and responsible business practices to Vietnamese companies. This is a continuation of our previous project “Helping SMEs resist corruption in Vietnam” (June 2016 – March 2017) and focuses on “Fostering a sound business environment through Government Business Integrity Action (GBIA) in Vietnam: From policy dialogue to delivering impact”. During the project, which lasts till the end of March 2018, we’ll be helping the Vietnamese Government and business community to define a nationwide project to change the culture of corruption in Vietnam. As part of the project, we are conducting a research project on the effectiveness of recent anti-corruption projects in Vietnam and hosting a fact-finding mission by senior government officials to London in January. We’ll be presenting our final recommendations for a Government-Business Integrity Initiative will be presented to the Vietnamese government in March.
