IBLF Global provides training sessions to Thai women entrepreneurs

23 September 2021

Women entrepreneurs are playing more and more important roles in business. Recently, IBLF Global provided training sessions to the Thai women entrepreneurs for the “Women Leadership in Business Integrity” Initiative launched by The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with cooperation from Thailand’s Federation of Business Professional Women (FBPW).

The initiative started in June with a two-day online workshop engaging over 30 women entrepreneurs, members of FBPW. The initiative intended to promote business integrity inside their companies and outside with their external partners. The trainees were assigned to the “Take Home Project '' to apply what they had learned from the workshop. After three months, they came back in the second and third parts of this initiative — Open Days and Action Days — to exchange progress and challenges in implementation.

The outcome has been promising; women entrepreneurs started to challenge the deep-tooted business culture through introducing a code of conduct, developing a gift and entertainment policy, and integrating ethics into companies’ values. In the future, similar groundbreaking initiatives will achieve business integrity and good governance in several companies.
