June 13, 2017

IBLF Global has been selected as lead project manager for the EBRD project “Kyrgyz Republic: Facilitating the participation of small and medium enterprises in public tenders conducted on the electronic public procurement system”. Kyrgyzstan introduced its e-procurement system in 2014, but so far the number of companies, especially SMEs, actively competing for public tenders in quite limited.

With our co-project leaders, GovRisk, and a team of international and local consultants, our team will be redesign the e-procurement system to make it more accessible for SMEs, and train the SMEs to use the simplified procedures. The project opened with an Inception Mission to Bishkek where our team and local officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Public Procurement Department and other agencies worked to outline the scope and timing of the project.
