Phil Mason, Chairman of the Board of Trustees: Phil Mason was with DFID for over 25 years. He started DFID’s anti-corruption work in 2000 under International Development Secretary Clare Short and developed the Department’s first anti-corruption efforts. This meant working with the Home Office and other Whitehall departments on issues such as anti-bribery legislation, Trade ministry on practices of British companies abroad, and with the Treasury on anti-money laundering and the early days of thinking about asset recovery. He helped negotiate the UN Convention Against Corruption which was agreed in 2003. Between 2005 and 2009 he headed DFID’s Overseas Territories Department. He returned to lead the Anti-Corruption team again in January 2010, and retired in 2019. Phil Mason was awarded an OBE in the Queen's New Year Honours list in 2015-6 for services to the UK's international anti-corruption policy.
Dr Jan Dauman, Trustee: Dr Dauman serves as a NED on several Boards and worked with the International Business Leaders Forum for over 20 years as an adviser and latterly as a member of the Board of Trustees. As CEO of InterMatrix Group, for some 40 years Jan has been professionally active in international business development in 30+ countries and as a thought leader and adviser to major corporations on responsible business practices. He co-authored the book “Business Survival and Social Change”, which was published in 1975 and focuses on the business case for corporate engagement and investment to tackle key economic and social development issues. He is an active member of the B20 and is an adviser to the WEF/PACI “Building Foundations of Trust and Integrity” programme.
Ian Ross, Trustee: Ian spent 35 years working mainly for multinational companies in a career that took him to over 80 countries in Africa, the Middle and Far East, the ex Soviet Union, Latin America and the Balkans as well as Europe. He has an abiding interest in cultural values and is currently working on a project designed to raise awareness of different business cultures around the world and the challenges they pose to Western values and practice. He has experience up to main board level in resolving significant international corporate governance issues within both legal and ethical guidelines. He has recently graduated at Masters level in coaching and is a qualified coach supervisor. 
Robert Starr, Trustee: Robert is Of Counsel to Dentons, a leading international law firm. He has served in a number of governmental positions, including International Counsel to the US President's Task Force on Communications Policy, and senior legal positions in the US Department of State. He has served as a director of a leading non-profit, non-governmental organisation providing global health programmes. He is currently advising a charity active in Africa, and is a member of the advisory board of an international airline. 
Brook Horowitz, CEO:  Brook  was part of the team that led GE’s expansion in Russia and Eastern Europe during the nineties and worked at the International Business Leaders Forum for 7 years as Director of Business Standards and Emerging Markets Programme, spearheading the organisation’s programmes in Russia and China, and leading the work of the B20 Task Force on Transparency and Anti-Corruption in 2013-2015. He is currently running programmes in Vietnam, Nigeria, Turkey and Kyrgyz Republic.
Boris Tkachenko, CEO, the Mentoring Institute and Trustee, Youth Business International: Boris’s past experience includes 20 years working in technical assistance projects financed by USAID, DFID and TACIS, focused on institutional, regulatory and legal framework and business development. Boris has worked with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), the British consulting company ADAS International, the French consulting consortium SOFRECO and the French cooperative bank Credit Mutuel. He holds a Masters in law; Post-graduate course in Law; Masters in Management, organizational psychology and business training delivery; Masters in Psychological consulting.
