OUR ACTIVITIES

At IBLF, we don’t just talk about the issues – our aim is to do something about them. Our programmes are designed to have impact in their chosen markets by informing, raising awareness, inspiring and ultimately changing for the better the way business is conducted.

From setting the agenda to convening leaders from business, government and civil society, we create the necessary consensus for action – collective action. The forums and discussions are only the first step towards changing the way companies and business operate in their markets and industries.

BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH IBLF Global

For the many companies and organisations that have funded our programmes, supported us as corporate partners, or simply participated in our events, the answer is clear. We facilitate the exchange of ideas, best practices and practical experience, between companies and between business, government and civil society, in a way which very few other organisations are able to do. We provide a neutral space, often in private settings, which allows allies and competitors to find common ground about the longer-term challenges for their companies and industry sectors. We inspire new thinking, “outside the box”, for the new generation of managers and entrepreneurs, and enable them, as individuals, to reassess their own values and contribution to society. Through our projects, we provide practical ways for them to implement these ideas within their own companies and beyond. Through the media, conferences and our thought-leadership publications we disseminate our combined solutions and shared values to a wider audience in the business community and beyond.

The impact of IBLF’s work can be felt on several levels.
At national and international level, IBLF Global’s programmes help to inform the thinking and attitudes of influential business leaders in major markets. As such, IBLF is uniquely positioned to enable business leaders from developed economies, emerging markets and developing countries to work together to create sustainable business environments and accelerate economic and social development.

At the corporate level, executives become acquainted with and involved in new ways of dealing with some of the world’s greatest economic, financial and social challenges. Allying themselves with the goals of our programmes also serves to enhance companies’ visible commitment and brand equity.
