IBLF Global moderates the 7th International Days of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship in Moscow

Youth Business Russia and Mentoring Institute conducted annual Mentoring Days in Entrepreneurship for the seventh time. The theme of the Days was “Creation, Development and Support of Mentor Communities at regional, federal, and international levels.
The moderator of the event was Boris Tkachenko, Head of YBR, IBLF Russia and Mentoring Institute.
He was joined by: Youth Business International, Impact Hub Moscow, Ugra Entrepreneurship and Support Foundation.
The attendees were made up of entrepreneurs, current and potential mentors, protegees and experts from organizations that are implementing mentoring programs and are planning to launch such programs.
The below is a list of YBI network representatives (and mentors) that participated in the program:
• John Cull - mentoring consultant of the Youth Business International network, with over 25 years of experience in mentoring,
• Bat-Orshikh Erdenebat - Senior Advisor, Development Solutions NGO, Program Manager, Youth Business Mongolia,
• Aruna Vinodh Kumar - Senior Director, Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (India)
Also we were joined by mentoring experts from other regions in Russia, India, Mongolia, and Kyrgyzstan.
The mentors talked about how their mentees improved their business management - thanks to mentoring! And also, how they themselves began to apply the mentoring style in their own companies.
The last event of the day was a master class from John Cull and Boris Tkachenko. The two themes were:
1) How to help mentees, who are in difficult situations, and how to help mentors themselves to deal with such situations;
2) How mentees and mentors can conduct complex negotiations (and what to do in a conflict situation).
The program came to a close with a shared photo session and a banquet to show our huge appreciation and to say a big thank you to all the attendants, our sponsors and our supporters.
