VCCI use of internal CoC

IBLF Global speaks at VCCI's workshop on companies' use of internal control and codes of conduct

March 24 , 2019

Excellent turnout for VCCI's consultation workshop on companies' use of internal control and codes of conduct in Vietnam. The workshop was attended by about 150 government and business representatives, and the press.

After speeches by the President of VCCI, the British Ambassador and the Resident Representative of UNDP, our local partner Professor Nguyễn Văn Thắng of the National Economics University and  CEO of IBLF Global, Brook Horowitz,  presented a research project, which included a survey of 250+ companies in Vietnam and how they manage corruption risk. There was a lively discussion with experts and members of the audience.

Next steps is to design and roll out a training programme for companies, and continue to raise the momentum of our Government-Business Integrity Initiative.

Thanks to the Vietnamese Government, the British Embassy, the UK Prosperity Fund, and UNDP for supporting this work under the "Promoting a fair business environment in ASEAN" programme and congratulations to VCCI on organising the event so efficiently.
